At Motofix, apprenticeships are a long-term investment in our people and the future of accident repair. Working in partnership with Thatcham Research and Inspiro Learning Centre, our Learning and Development Academy combines recognised qualifications with structured workplace learning, technical training and support from experienced colleagues.
From their first day, apprentices build practical skills, confidence and an understanding of the high standards required within a modern repair environment. They gain exposure to evolving vehicle technology, manufacturer repair methods, and different stages of the repair process, creating a strong foundation for continued development.
Our focus goes beyond achieving a qualification. We develop capable, motivated professionals who can build rewarding, long-term careers with Motofix and help shape the future of our industry.

Our apprenticeships are about more than developing technical skills. Throughout the programme, our apprentices take part in experiences designed to build confidence, teamwork, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility.
Our annual onboarding event brings together new first-year apprentices and more experienced apprentices from across the Motofix Group. Each new apprentice also receives a Motofix onboarding kit, including a personal tablet, to help prepare them for the programme ahead.
Qualifying as a technician is a major milestone, and we want our apprentices to begin their careers with the professional equipment they need to succeed. Through our Tool and Equipment Loan Scheme, eligible apprentices may receive company funding towards a fully equipped Mac Tools toolbox for MET and Panel roles, or professional spray guns from DeVilbiss or SATA for Paint roles. It is one of the ways we continue investing in our people beyond their apprenticeship, helping newly qualified technicians take the next step with confidence.
